The best way to know if your body really needs more water is to be consciously aware of whether or not you actually feel thirsty. Thirst is every body’s individual monitor that lets them know if they need more. The more water you need, the thirstier you get. 2. Drinking Water Until Your Urine Is Clear
Though most people believe clear urine is the healthiest sign of hydration, however, having urine with no pigmentation at all may be a sign that you’re drinking too much water. The color of your urine should be straw-colored to transparent yellow, if you are drinking a healthy quantity of water. For most people, eight to ten glasses of water a day is considered a normal amount.
3. Frequent Urinating, Even During The Night
Do you find yourself waking up in the middle of the night to go tot the bathroom? if so, you may be drinking too much water. It is normal to urinate between 6 to 8 times per day, so if you are urinating more than 10 times a day, you might be drinking too much water. To reduce the amount of times you visit the bathroom during the night, limit your intake of water at least a couple hours before going to bed.

The symptoms of overhydration looks a lot like those symtoms of dehydration. Your kidneys become unable to rid itself when you drink too much water. The excess liquid and water starts to collect in the body, causing a few unpleasant symptoms, which could include nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
5. Throbbing Headaches
Similar to nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, headaches are both a sign of overhydration and dehydration, when you drink too much water. The salt in your blood reduces, which causes the cells in the organs throughout your body to swell. When you drink too much water, your brain actually grows in size and presses against the skull. The additional pressure can cause a throbbing headache and more serious health problems such as brain impairment and trouble breathing.
6. Weak Muscles
Balance is what is needed to have a healthy, fully functioning body. When you drink too much water, your electrolyte levels drop and that balance is compromised.
